Go Travel Solutions are a specialist sustainable transport consultancy with, who have been fulfilling the Travel Planning Co-ordinator role for the New Lubbesthorpe Sustainable Urban Extension since 2018 for Drummond Estate.
Claire Biddle, Planning Manager for Harworth Group said:
The promotion of sustainable transport is seen as vital to achieving a reduction in single occupancy vehicles journeys over the lifetime of the development. As outlined in the South East Coalville Framework Travel Plan, the role of the Travel Planning Co-ordinator is key to achieving this target and the other sustainable transport ambitions of the scheme.
Robin Pointon, Managing Director for Go Travel Solutions said:
Our focus will be on working to meet both the planning requirements and add value to the scheme through delivering best practice in sustainable promotion and development. It will mirror the approach we are taking with other major schemes, such as New Lubbesthorpe.
