New Lubbesthorpe Benefiting From E-Bike Scheme

In partnership with the New Lubbesthorpe landowner, the Drummond Estate, Go Travel Solutions and Rutland Cycling have launched a new free e-bike loan scheme for residents. For 28 days, residents can loan an e-bike via the LocalGo scheme, and five members have already taken up the offer.

Local company, Rutland Cycling at Everards Meadows, will supply the e-bike, helmet and lock for 28 days, with full instructions and bike setup provided when you collect the e-bike. Only five e-bikes can be loaned out at any point in time between now and September, so please book your free loan now.

Find out more about this offer by visiting the offer page on LocalGo.

Martin Ward on behalf of the Drummond Estate, explains: “This is just one of the initiatives we are delivering at New Lubbesthorpe to provide attractive and viable alternatives to using the car. The e-bike free loan along with a ‘demand responsive’ bus service and provision for walking and cycling, all help to provide a more sustainable way to live and is one of the reasons this is such a pioneering development.”

If you live in New Lubbesthorpe and have not signed up to LocalGo, you can do so now by clicking here and using verification email address ‘This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.’. It’s free to sign up and you can access many more sustainable transport discounts.
