ArrivaClick update for Residents of New Lubbesthorpe
Go Travel Solutions, on behalf of the Drummond Estate and in partnership with Arriva, would like to make residents aware of some positive changes to the ArrivaClick service. There is news on the Pre-Booking request feature, a new concessionary fares process and the proposed new late night bus service. [Updated 14/01/2020]
Following feedback from residents about the late cancellation of Pre-Booking requests. The Pre-Booking request feature in the ArrivaClick app will be switched off on Sunday 22nd December and all pre-booking requests in the system will be deleted. This will end the instances of late cancellation of pre-booked requests.
Late night service
A request has been submitted to the local authorities to extend the Arriva 158 bus that departs from Leicester St. Margaret’s Bus Station for Nuneaton at 23:45 (Monday to Saturday) down Beggars Lane from Hinckley Road (A47) to the roundabout at New Lubbesthorpe.
A new bus stop will be installed near the roundabout, so residents who wanted to travel back from the city centre later or are unable to use the ArrivaClick service before it finishes at 23:00, could catch the bus and alight adjacent to the estate. This has now been approved, and has begun operation.
Passengers will need to inform the driver they are travelling to New Lubbesthorpe when they get on the bus.
